Browsing through some pictures of my last big trip I came across some pictures from YogYakarta, Central-Java, Indonesia. Visiting this city when on Java is an absolute must. It is renowned as the cultural capital of the island. And one of the highlights is the Kraton, the palace of Sultan Hamengkoeboewono. Here are some pictures of the guards (and an occasional cleaner) and the gamelan musicians you can bump into when there.
